I once met a guy from Mexico who said he lived in a 'middle class neighborhood ' in Guadalajara. He said it's very similar to that. He showed me photos of his home and windows were all covered in bullet proof metal bolted to the house Lex @The Prowler .

Basically the same idea. He and his family can't safely walk around the front of his house without the threat of violence or possibly being shot and killed. His house had been robbed before...while he was at home. In Canada or the US that be considered ghetto but parts of Mexico urs considered normal to live like that. The truly rich or well off there all live in gated communities with armed guards at the entrance.

Yknow Lex @The Prowler Mexicans can be some of the warmest friendliest nicest people you'd ever meet. They uphold family values, relationships and togetherness that you would admire.

And yet their society/ nation is so deeply flawed
