Some cucumber slices soaked in old pickle juices in the fridge.
I will buy a continental cucumber (long cling wrapped) because my daughter loves them despite my wife hating cucumbers and pickles... then it sits out on the counter for days... until I use it for a sandwich. Nobody cuts into it. It's infuriating. Then before it goes bad, I slice it up and put it into a jar of pickle juices for 2-3 days.
My daughter went, "what are you doing?" I explained and she was like "oh...smart!".
It would be smarter if she just ate the cucumber fresh. :(
