There’s a helluva good Australian series called Upright that you need to keep an eye out for. It has Tim Minchin (Muscian/comedian) and Milly Alcock (House Of Dragons) as the leading actors. Awesome feel-good series that will make you laugh and even maybe shed a tear.

Yellowstone has just started again....

It's excellent. Don't mind the Costner haters. It's his best work to date.... even if Costner is a real life stooge.

Get into "The Expanse" if you haven't already. Space Sci Fi....

"Fleischman Is In Trouble" is new and entertaining so far.

Pm me for sites you can stay abreast of the newest shows.... hint hint

Appreciate the suggestions and I'll look into them (except 'Outlander'... I'm already aware of that show and have zero interest). At least tonight I get a new 'Avenue 5' episode.

I don't watch much television so I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for an hour or two's worth of entertainment a couple times a week. Heh

Just when you think this section couldn't get any worse.

If it's not woke morons tarding the section up with politics,it's moronic hippies going on about what's on Tv.

If I only waited around for you to poast anything worth reading, much less responding to, I might as well find something else to do. That's asking for more patience than even I, a famously patient fellow, can muster.

I try to watch stand up on those nights that there isn't much on TV.

I also have HBO max as a back up so I can almost always find things to watch.

I've never seen one episode of GOT. Is it any good?

Game of Thrones is great, up to and including season 7.

The final season is almost as bad as the final season of Lost or the final season of The Wire.

I was being facetious. I resist watching so many things that people say are great because they don't seem to hold up to what I find to be great.

Though The Wire was pretty good. My guy said he watched GOT for a long time, but he thought the violence became gratuitous and lost interest after several seasons. I just haven't gotten to a point to where I get interested. Additionally, I'm not that into the "fantasy" genre.

That't the weird thing, though; neither am I.

I'm hardcore sci-fi. Dragons usually don't turn my crank.

But GoT is more about palace intrigues than anything else. And that, too, isn't stuff I'd normally watch but the show is well written (up to season 7) and the characters are incredibly well drawn.

If you liked The Wire, Lil, you owe it to yourself to check out Bosch and Bosch: Legacy on Amazon Prime. You won't be disappointed.

The novels by Michael Connelly are even better.

I'll check out Bosch and Bosch.

As for palace intrigues, I read actual history and it will provide all the intrigue I can handle...

The cinematics are still superb in season 8 and there are some awesome scenes but the writers either lost the plot or never had one to work with and weren't capable of pulling a decent one out of thin air.

I'm guessing the latter.

Binge watch OUTLANDER!!!!
Yeah, Claire Fraser can be a bit painful and uppity at times. She’s rooting two blokes in two different time zones, and still has the hide to bitch and moan about her lot in life. Bloody hell!
