Is it really a "misinterpretation" to run with the literal meaning of what was actually poasted, or is it simply exploiting the inadequate communication skillz of someone who desperately needs to avoid admitting their own responsibility for the results?
If you paint your car monkey-snot green and people laugh your next move probably shouldn't be to insist that the car is actually a lovely shade of blue and anyone who says otherwise is deliberately misinterpreting colors.
