As far as I can tell, they probably were not on the roof today or even yesterday. It looks like they're tearing things down from the inside and removing the debris.

90 degrees. real feel 103.

* the Mexicans were having a siesta when i went through at 1:15. (yeah, i go to the beer store almost every day for adult beverages) They were laying there and sleeping on the cement.

There's a cut-through at the corner of the shopping center. This is what it looks like:

He might have had too many cervezas the night before and that's what his problem was. The crazy lady at the beer store said that they're in there every day and it's kind of annoying because they all come in at once. (it's 5 or so of them) Buying lottery tickets and this and that. Them and regular customers. Too many customers to deal with, all at the same time. It's good for business, though.

We had thunderstorms and heavy rain yesterday afternoon/early evening. Lots of reports of flooded roads, especially around creeks and streams. A friend from high school posted videos of the flooding from his house in Windsor. His house is on the other side of the road from a creek and he has a bridge to get over the creek. The water was running Over the Top of his bridge.

A woman from work also lives in Windsor and her backyard got flooded. That's all she talked about the entire day ... showing coworkers videos, showing customers videos ... yap, yap, yap. That's how she's always been. If she were a black woman, her name would be Loquacious.

My buddy has to work with her in the deli and he was ready to cry and end himself halfway through the day. I worked with her many more years in the meat department at another store than he has worked with her. I know the drama and the pain. I told him about when she had her grandbabies. That was over 20 years ago. She wouldn't stop talking about them and showing pictures to coworkers and random customers for an ENTIRE FUCKING MONTH.

A state of confusion...
I love that kind of storm. My dog doesn't. He's afraid of the thunder.

Yeah it's cool, in my gaming/music/movie room where my PC, PS5 and Stereo live that room has a skylight window on the sloping roof/ceiling I love the sound of the rain hitting it, it's relaxing and I've always liked storms plus I can get a good look at the lightning from the comfort of my La-Z-Boy.

If it makes you feel any better my dog is a total pussy when it comes to thunder and lightning too.

I think a skylight where you can see the weather is awesome.

My dog is medium sized and tries to literally sit under my legs when I'm on the sofa. He's such a wuss.
