The stock market is essentially a casino for oligarchs except at this casino if the heavy rollers are busted the house apologizes and gives their money back (after extracting it from the national treasury).
The stock market isn't the economy; it only indicates how the very wealthy are placing their bets this week.

The prediction is that by July many store shelves will be emoty. It's a similar situation as what disrupted the supply chains at the beginning of covid.
Look for runs on items, and perhaps fistfights in the stores.
