Alex Acosta cut a plea deal with Epstein in 2008 that allowed him to serve only 13 months when he was facing life in prison. He was able to avoid federal sex trafficking charges, and negotiated immunity for potential co-conspirators.
Trump made him Secretary of Labor in 2017...
