To understand what our rights under the constitution are and the balance between state and federal?
Does the SCOTUS not exist to make sure states laws are constitutional?
You see our resident lefties whining about the SCOTUS being "activists" because they struck down an anti constitutional gun law in NY? Hollowbrain thinks it was an "activist" decision that disregards state rights.
These are the people who think they are smarter then everyone. I bet they are ignorant enough to think abortion is a constitutional right. That Roe is the "law of the land" when it isnt even a law.
It's like they have no idea how the government works. They do not get how the state and federal government is set up as checks and balances to hedge tyranny. Why the fuck would the SCOTUS hold up a law that is anti Constitutional? How is that "activism"? That's exactly what SCOTUS is for. To make decisions that are in line with the constitution so states do not violate constitutional rights.
Leftists really think every single law or decision made that preserve rights and liberties of ordinary Americans is some sort of tyranny or activism. Like no idiot.....you cant just remove actual rights from people.

So because we defend states rights....that MUST mean we think the states have a right to infringe on the constitution. Or we are somehow supposed to support states violating constitutional rights. That's their thinking. And they dont know they are extremists. They think it's a gotcha.
