For years I've posted about how I party hard every week although I am now 60. It's the truth. We do party every week but in a way we hold back and never overdo it cos most people have jobs and families that take precedence over our leisure time. A few times a year though the extended family of the thousands of people you have met and become chemically lovers with meet up at one or 2 venues and have it so hard it takes 2 months to recover. My favourite is our bi-annual night out at Rejuvenation at the Beaver Works, Leeds. An absolute shithole where you stick to the floor and sweat runs from the ceilings. Around 2000 ravers aged between 80 and 18 smash the dancefloors of 6 rooms for about 10 hours floating from room to room and feeding off the empathy and energy these people bring. Without ever a hint of trouble, not one sideways glance or bad vibe are evr aloud. Here we come to our church. Here we feel closest to our god. It's almost impossible to catch on video the volcanic energy of the place but this short video from 2024 made in one of the rooms is pretty good.
