So if they wanted to attack and destroy the human race, they would have done it by now.
And it's always been the same story. Some unidentified flying object is sighted, even for long periods of time, they come and then they leave without incident.

I was in a tiny chapel in Northern Italy. When I was there, it had just been restored, as in returned more to its original state, not with things replaced. They had removed paint that had painted over the original frescoes all over the 6 or 7-hundred year old chapel. The entire ceiling had been painted over centuries before. On that ceiling, amongst the original religious figures, was someone in an astronaut bubble helmet. I kid you not. I took a bunch of pics of it, but they're on my desktop in Montana. It was the most unusual thing I have ever seen, and I've been to hundreds and hundreds of ruins and old churches and celtic stone circles, etc.
Thats really cool.
It was cool. It gave me these really intense chills. I seriously couldn't believe it.

An alien species that could travel the distances needed to visit us would pretty much have to be at least a Type2 civilization on the Kardashev scale. We aren't even a Type1 or anywhere near it.
