A lot of history. We did a lot of really cool shit.
CorsetKat was my GF of 20 years... met her in Colorado Springs in '98, lived together and moved to LA for about 17 years before moving to Denver and breaking up. She's one of my all time favorite people, but we grew apart (she fucking changed) and separated in 2019 after moving back to CO. Rarely speak, she lives in Denver and hasn't shared any details of her life since... I moved on to PA, NV and back to CO since. I briefly texted w her last month when my mom passed... our mutual cat we rescued in 2011 that I insisted on keeping is close to passing so I've saved her number really for that reason, to let her know. Then I'll delete. Move on. Close her chapter for good.
One thing that comes to mind w her is when I started BFF 1 in 2007... months into 2008 she didn't understand why I was talking to people on the net, dismissed it as a waste of time.. one day she was looking over my shoulder reading some drama of
@Iggy McLulz and I, set her off and that's all it took. She joined, jawed w Iggy for years and began lovin' the IMAGE section here. What you saw with her clapback replies was real. People annoyed her in general. She was quick to speak her mind and never trolled.
I closed BF1 in 2015, which pissed her off, but you can actually point the blame at her for why I closed. So she started up a little private board that I was never allowed to access. I never tried. Things like this erode trust and kill friendships.
She's had no desire to log in here since 2019.. she doesn't want to be around me, BFF or this era of her life... I'm okay with that. We're cool, we've just gone our own directions.
