I really didn't get super into it and aborted and then a few years later when I was coming around to giving it a second go a bunch of pal wheo had watched it pretty religiously told me they completely fucked up the last season or two so I haven't even watched season one since it came out and that's got to be at least 10-15years ago at this point.

I think a lot of it probably comes down to being deprived of attention in the real world.
