Just an aside but I think IRL the singer Tammy Wynette did have problems with a man or men who went around spending all the money from her financial success as a singer. Also having been born poor she was somewhat frugal and didn't spend much on herself. So she was always fearful that she was just 1 paycheck or job away from losing it all & would have to go back to become a hairdresser again @Dove
