We've all got stuff like that... what are yours?

I bought one of those pop up tent steam saunas years ago but the tent part degraded quickly so I threw it away, but not before salvaging the tent poles and the heater unit with remote control.

I figure the cut up poles would make good arrows in a pinch and the heater unit could be used to heat wood for bending.

I've got tubs and tubs of those things in my shed. Have to go through them periodically because the plastics degrade and get a white powdery substance on them and then infect the others.

FFS I even have RCA cables. Landline phone cables. Composite. VGA. DVI. But not coaxial. Those I threw away. There must be a limit to the hoarding

I have almost 20 old hard drives that are corrupted but I can't let go of all that media

Old zippo lighter parts and pieces.

Buckets with lids.

Any tool.... even shitty Chinese ones I rarely or never use.

Plastic shopping bags (which are rare these days here)....

Hardwood cuttings and dropped branches I cut up and store.

Pencil stubs and rubber bands off produce bunched.

Copper components off broken down white goods.

250 ml jam jars for drinking beverages out of.

Old wool socks that are no longer comfortable to wear but are good for insulated projects. Old T shirts for garage rags. Old motor oil for driving off mosquitos in a pinch.

Old candle remnants for new candles. Old cooking oils for wicked lanterns.

I've also lost a ton of stuff I'd love to have kept, including all the photos I took in the US

I lost 90% of them, they were in discs that were in boxes that I shipped when I came back, but they got stolen when they arrived in Rio.

In addition to comics I have nearly every gaming system ever produced along with games for each system except a PS5 which I will never buy.

I also kept nearly all my vinyl circa 1968 to 1983 or whenever cds starting coming out. Even still have a Phillips studio standard turntable and ADVENT speakers.

Ive tried 5 or 6 recovery apps but they still can't be read even 1 that guaranteed results having its own operating systems to mock errors

Heres 1 drawer rest are in boxes it contains the most recent and the ones that didnt make noise..hehe I had a habit of kicking around my old PCs , I use to make Frankensteins from scrap parts
