Fossil fuels actually DONT cause pollution in America josephine. Are you aware that diesel catalysts have brought particulate and NOX emissions down over 90%? The coal fired plant that was built here 20 years ago that they'll be shutting down in another 10 has super low emissions too! AND they capture the CO2 to boot! As of the early 2000's, GM catalyst tech emits almost zero carbon monoxide. Instead of being such a dumb ass, you should look into the actual science sometime.

Well...even if fossil fuels don't cause air pollution as yu claim....

....wouldn't it make more sense to purchase a hybrid vehicle which got 60 mpg as opposed to a gas guzzer which gets just 30 mpg?

And if your running a business, and you're trying to cut costs, say a commercial transport where savings count towards increasing your revenues, why would you want to consume more gas? It's just more expense.

It's like people who spend $80-1000 on a caviar phone plan when they could go to a cut rate provider, pay $40 per month instead, and use the savings toward ssomething else.

The more money you save on gas, the more revenue gets put back into your pocket from the money you didn't spend on gas.

you know batteries eventually don't hold their charge right and that batteries in elecric cars cost $12,000 to replace... how many family guys are going to be able to afford a battery change? Lemme guess,.... No one?

Any saving on fuel is going towards a battery....

No one single "renewable item," ie solar panels, wind turbines, anything, isn't made without fossil fuels...

The UNDERSTORY which is what a forest ground is has another biodiversity that is as EXETREMELY important as animal life anywhere. There are animals, insects, reptiles, Birds, living in the understory.

If they burn off SMALL sections, when there is a forest fire, the animals can go to the area that had a controlled burn, that's the theory anyway.

It's a dilemma.
