If you think Cubans are suffering because of the embargo?

Now, examine the rates per 100,000 and realize the vast, vast, vast majority never experience any such event. Turn off your TV, man.

As if this shit happens in other countries. Why I like it here. No guns, Trump, no tough guys, very few Cig smokers.

In Lotusbud's last meltdown thread about her phobia of guns I linked to stats and listed multiple other first world countries where mass shootings are more common than in the US. That is before we even look at the dozens of third world shitholes with more mass shootings and higher rates of gun violence. Hell, 80% of all gun deaths are suicides with all other shootings just being 20% and mass shootings being a tiny partial fraction of that amount.

Stop being ruled by your emotions and start actually looking at hard data. You will not only become better informed but also be able to identify better policy decisions.

So tell me. What other countries do mass shootings occur? You act as if it’s no big deal. By the way I’m not LB.

Go and look in Lotusbud's "Only in America" thread. It is all spelled out, linked to, and discussed there.

They are bad but our options are extremely limited and we should not be making restrictions for everyone based upon extremely rare cases.

I'm not scared of communism like Americans are. I'm scared of organized crime, serial killers, homosexual getting their hands on kids... cultures that suppress women and children's rights. Government leaders with secret Swiss Bank accounts.

I'd go live in a place like Cuba and KNOW I'd be safer there than many parts of the USA...

Cuba might be a good place to retire to.

It's a lot better than many countries in Latin America where vacationers have been assaulted or murdered.

Many countries such as Mexico are not that safe.

One of my friend's son got his face carved up with a swtichblade in Argentina.

At least from tourists I've spoken with, Cuba is safe.

Perhaps one of the few truly safe countries to visit there.

At least I haven't heard about tourists getting robbed, raped, beaten up or killed there.

My daughter went to Cuba when they opened it for tourists and she was blown away. She said children play in the streets, they don’t have cell phones and it’s generally friendly.
I hear North Korea is the same.

...USA still has 12,000 homicides by guns tho. Suicides by gun outnumber that by over 2:1. So there must be around 24,000-30,000 gun suicides annually.

12,000 gun homicides is still a lot tho.

More than any other country

I am sure that is true. It is also true that communism has created sole crushing poverty where even a young doctor only makes $18 per month and is so poor she is forced to work as a prostitute fucking foreign tourists for cash just to feed her family.

So look deeper than just the surface. You will learn more. But at least the secret police lock everyone up who facts the wrong way. Of course, living in a totalitarian system has its own problems.

Go there and talk to the people yourself is all I can suggest. I think you will surprised.

I have talked to many cubans and that's exactly where I get my opinion.

I see Murd liking your posts but the day she blocked me and started ranting about how I "follow a white supremacist" the guy she was ranting at is a friend of mine who came to America from Cuba, and has gone into this many times.

Many people from Cuba have talked about the poor conditions and authoritarian government.

They only get gasoline there one week a month. It's not at all working for them.

Most of which is gang violence that occurs in states with strictest gun control.

How long ago did they leave Cuba?

You know people lie or exaggerate when they're seeking asylum right?

Murdy's daughter holidayed there. It's not the horror regime you think it is. It's not drug and murderous Mexico.
