It was good. The ten year old was very concerned about where his pet cat had gotten to. It turned out that kitty was sleeping behind a reclining chair in his room.

The cat is fat and snores. Just FYI. He really likes his canned kitty food. Normally he does sleep next to my wife, as in lays his head upon her's, he is an adoptee and if very afraid people will leave him again. He loves, loves, loves my wife as she is the one who regularly feeds him and plays with him.

I started introducing space and planets into Squishes home school curriculum and it's been really easy seeing stars out side. There is no light pollution out here so it gets very dark at night... the stars are so visable. We get a lot more use out of the telescope.

Just been doing our usual Oct stuff. Horror movies, baking and cooking, and checking out the local apple orchards.

I found reasonably priced ply wood. So I'm gonna get it cut and finally replace the subfloor in the hallway.
