Here is some context for that quote. And it's pretty much why Gross and all those marxist rioters never get charged with having guns illegally.
Of course, we know Mao didnt want the peasents to have guns....just his revolutionaries and his government. That's what he meant. He wanted JUST his revolutionaries to be armed. You know just like how the marxists mobs are demanding to be the only ones with guns by demonizing regular people for using their own constitutional rights.
"As demonstrated by the following quotations, Mao believed that violence and support from the masses were necessary for the achievement of a peaceful communist order. One of the most critical challenges faced by Mao in this regard was establishing strong military support for the revolution while simultaneously preventing the armed forces from becoming too powerful. Mao's concerns are reflected in the last two quotations; while arguing that political power cannot be achieved without resorting to the use of force, ("Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun" — the gun being a metaphor for the military), Mao also believed that the party must always remain in ultimate political control of the nation in order for peace and prosperity to be achieved ("...the gun must never be allowed to command the Party")."
And this kind of shit.
"
In a piece titled, “China and the US were both born from armed conflict. They're now polar opposites on gun control,” a pair of CNN writers favorably contrasted the totalitarian Chinese government’s gun control regime with U.S. freedom.
The outlet boasted of “how rare gun crime is in China – in contrast to it being a daily reality in the US.” Touting China’s near-total civilian disarmament, CNN’s writers claimed, “The difference is stark when it comes to public safety. Despite being the world's most populous country, with 1.4 billion residents, China only records a few dozen gun crimes a year.”"
Of course the article can be vetted and readers can see it for themselves.
The dems/progs do not want regular Americans to have guns or to be able to use them in self defense from their state protected violent mobs. They are fine having police stand down while mobs destroy and attack communities and to use this violence for political influence. They want Americans too afraid to use our rights.
Make no mistake.....that's how real fascists authoritarians function. They tell you these are mostly peaceful protests and viscious and mercilessly go after anyone who dares protect themselves.
We saw it with the Mclowskis(?) and we see it with Kyle.
You dont hear ANY media hysterics or see trials being had when this mob murders innocent people. You dont see anything when they brutally beat people. They intentionally ignore it to push this propaganda.
So basically at this point, the framing is everything. You could have a completely centrist stance on a major issue.....and dems/progs have gone so far off the mark from basic American values that your centrist stance will be labeled "right wing" and be told you are bias for it.
Like this. If you dont want a person who did NOT break a single law convicted of some crime, its political bias. It's absolutely absurd. Do you value the liberal order? Do you value human and constitutional rights? A basic American stance that EVERYONE should agree on? Well they've done gone so far off the edge that basic American stance is seen as politics. The constitution should be the foundation of everyones political positions and now its labeled as some fringe, wing nut thing.
A woman who lived through Maos revolution speaks about leftwing/SJW ideology and how it's the same ideology used by Mao. And of course she is called "right wing bias" because that's part of the psychological warfare used against anyone who criticizes them and supports Americas basic values.
Its completely absurd to see someone who is arguing for a person who committed NO crime, for someone who operated within the law and used his rights against violent political thugs who attacked him....be convicted for some "interest of the nation" reason.....try to make an argument that OTHERS are operating like authoritarians. Talk about projection and irony. Arbitrary imprisonment/law enforcement justified by "the interest of the country" is exactly what Mao was about. Anyone not in line was labeled a "counter revolutionary" (just like anyone not in line with dem/prog narratives is labeled a right wingnut/extremist/white supremacist....anything demonizing) and gone after.
Sound familiar? It should.
