I can attest to that fact. once the make up comes off, its like looking at a whole different woman sometimes. some are actually more attractive, some are "take it or leave it" just as good looking without makeup, or some are just outright "stunt doubles for the orcs for the lord of the rings" ugly.

how far are you from the facility now @Joe? Is it that long of a drive @Joe? You have to calculate that into the equation @Joe or else you'll be spending money needlessly @Joe

Get a med trained home health aid. Like a CNA.

Dont hire a nurse. It's expensive and nurses wont do a lot of the hands on care. If your mother is fine at home and doesnt need a hospital a nurse is actually overkill.

In hospice youd have a nurse to come in weekly and a CNA everyday.

Unless you want to do all the work yourself of course.

How functioning is she? When/if she gets to a point where she cant move around well or bath herself or is incontinent .....that's when you get an aid. I don't really see why youd wanna be closer to a hospital if shes 90....what are her wishes? Because most people dont wanna be resuscitated at her age.
