Are you OK @Succubus ?

Have you recovered yet?

How long were you in the hospital for?

I'm ok. I was only in the hospital for 4 days but it took about 2-3 months for my lungs to fully recover after the fact. My IV came out 3x, lol. They had me on antibiotics, vitamins and Remdesivir drip. I think the Remdesivir is what helped me the most but of course I needed the other medicine, as well. The worst part for me was the migraine. It was consistent and felt like someone was hitting me in the head with an ax. I caught the first variant but I think it was the Delta variant that put me down. I was on my couch for a week. Couldn't move. Wasn't eating. Barely drinking. It wasn't good but I am very fortunate. There are others that had it much worse than I did that had to be put on respirators. I refused to go on one. My oxygen was fed to me through a tube in my nose (thank God) because I wasn't as severe as the other cases they had but it could have progressed. I'm doing much better now. :)

If I ever got it, and given that omicron is the most contagious disease known to man I have certainly been exposed multiple times, then it wasn't anything major. The most I can remember since 2020 is a minor cold

I dunno, I'm beginning to believe that the vaccine may be harmful. I do get my shots but they seem to make me feel like shit.

Really. I never felt any discomfort, even after the boosters. Never had Covid. I have had Denge Fever a few times. Similar to Malaria. Sweaty and feverish for about a week. Seems to return now and then. Occurred once while in NorCal. Saw a tropical disease doctor. $900. later he told
me I was having a relapse.

Hello Sea, how goes it?

I can't say I envy you for suffering through all of that. The sickest I've ever been in my life is the measles when I was a kid. I used to hate it when people would say: "At least you have your health.". Now when I hear it, I feel grateful.

So are tropic disease disease outbreaks common where you live @Seamajor?

Do these diseases affect most of the population there?

Not much. The government sprays for mosquitoes regularly. I had Dengue in 2009, and a relapse a year later. The entire country took the Covid vaccine and the boosters. Basically eliminating the virus. Joe you need a vacation

@Joe Just remember that if you move to Costa Rica you might lose your government disability payments.
I wouldn’t consider moving to Costa Rica @The Prowler

Too much disease & as you pointed out earlier too much violent crime

Hawaii is about the only subtropical place id consider moving to

It’s relatively safe & free of many vices now afflicting the USA

Healthy too
Many of these warm places have problems with bugs reptiles sharks & diseases eh prowler
Social unrest too

@Joe You would lose your government benefits so I doubt you could afford to live in Hawaii. Unless you already got your multi-million dollar inheritance from your mother, but that will not be until next year.

@Joe Or were you listed as a beneficiary for life insurance and/or other assets outside of the estate?

@Joe Why so shy? Spill the beans. Are you (finally) a wealthy man?

@The Prowler - Canadians can live visa free in the United States for up to six months of the year. That's retired or working.

Anyways Prowler, why would you or anyoen wanna stay year round in tropical heat such as Hawaii or Florida? It gets too goddam hot in the summer - July etc.

Hawaii weather:

...but Florida even worse in the summer Prowler:

...at least where I live Floridians actually come to Vancouver in the summertime to escape the oppressive heat where they live in July.

@Joe But how will you be able to afford it?

The Government of Canada is not going to pay your disability benefits when you are living in another country.

@Joe And you already said that your rent in Vancouver is very low because of government affordable housing programs. You will not get the same cheap rates in Hawaii.

@Joe So why talk about something that you cannot even afford to do, @Joe?

@Joe Or did you get that big lump sum of money that you were hoping for?

The vaccines have damaged people's innate immune systems.

"The risk of COVID-19 also varied by the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses previously received. The higher the number of vaccines previously received, the higher the risk of contracting COVID-19"
