For our third and final installment of virtuosity, I offer something the dullards here at Bastard Factory probably don't even know exist. This is the second and third transcription of the Terpsichore of Michael Praetorius that was transcribed in the early 1600s. Praetorius invented tablature, btw, to record music for stringed instruments.
This is the kind of music that was being played in the taverns of Florence, Italy in the 1620s when the dudes were out cruising for chicks to fuck.
It took a deep dive, but this is one of the best renditions.
