Not necessarily. I view the Russia/Ukraine as an internal fight between cousins. The Ukies are as Russian as the Russians and the only difference is they pronounce it "Volodomir" in Kiev and "Vladimir" in Moscow.

There is absolutely ZERO National Interest for the United States in that conflict.

I think the rest of the world is being forced to ante up its spending because America & especially its current President feels insecure about its dominance in the world @Garraty_47 .

So all the other NATO members are forced to spend more & cough up for National Defense. This whole push to re arm is driven by the United States.

Meanwhile the US is $37 Trillion in debt.

Trump wants a Golden Dome over North America and wants Canada to cough up several billion.

And the Republican Party doled out $4 Trillion in tax cuts which the USA can't afford.

Cant see how this won't collapse one day. No more than 10 years of reckless money printing and spending left. but itll drive the other NATO members into bankruptcy as well.

The USA wants the rest of NATO to "take over" the proxy war in Ukraine because 'Murica can't pick a fight with Russia, Iran, and China all at the same time. The western hegemons know they may not get another chance so they *need* to pick those other fights now while they still have any chance of success.

They even know it's stupid and probably won't work and they simply don't care. They'd rather destroy the entire planet than give up any shred of control and just for that alone they need to be removed from power.

Trump won't get us into wars...as he does exactly get us involved in conflicts.
