I plan to be touching real grass this coming Saturday. I run an Evaluation Practice at 12pm, then participate in a Returning Player Practice at 2pm.

I played some catch with my wife today. My arm was not strong. It was after playing pickleball and shooting some hoops for over an hour though, so it makes sense that my arm was fatigued. Still, I know I need to get some regular throwing in starting today until the season gets rolling.

I am looking forward to taking some batting practice. That feeling of hitting the ball with the sweet spot of the bat...it is awesome!!!

Again, notice that it says "trails". This is because this is a shoe designed for outdoor adventures, including walking and running trails.

Now, who else is surprised that the jOak known as Fat Lily does not know what Outdoor Shoes designed for Trails are?

Hey @The Prowler just an aside... the software that's used to design many of these running shoes you buy and wear is MODO produced by a company called The Foundry. A good chunk of the shoes you buy are designed on either MODO, Adobe Substance Designer and/or SolidWorks.



Recently, I went out and bought the entire suite, which includes Modo.

Thought I'd do it cuz it was my last chance ta git my hands of permanent/perpetual software since its makers are switching to subscriber only, eh?

Anyways, when I fire up the software sometime, I'll try ta mimic what these shoe companies do ta see I can produce a shoe for you.

....Wish me luck, eh?

Each of those pairs probably cost $5 to produce in some 3rd world sweat shop. What you paid $200+ a pair for is 90% advertising, boosting company share prices.

I sincerely hope you own shares in those sneaker companies Prowler. At least get something back fer all the synthetic junk ya paid for.
