The whole *point* of science is that it *is* fallible. Knowledge is constantly being expanded and refined, with hypotheses undergoing constant critical scrutiny, becoming theories when validated by evidence and analysis, being discarded when they fail those tests.
'Scientist' isn't a title deserving of (nor, when it's authentic, receptive to) the kind of sainthood ascribed to it by charlatans who want to use it to promote easily and repeatedly disproved bullshit.
