Its fun to be making this stuff. Just going to be a continuing hobby. I have much materials to work with

My dad worked in a steel mill and he says how things are different these days

A lot smaller and cheaper

Back then you'd need industrial computers with some sort of custom made serial board to be able to control stuff

And a handful of IT guys to make it all work plus engineers

Now you got all that inside these arduinos

Now you can do it on your workbench. The coding is remarkably simple and encourages more exploation to do things with.

so I have 15 different processors, all of which sync with each other. it's pretty amazing

I had one. It was really good at sequencing and triggering switches on and off. It worked with FORTRAN cide,

I used it in high school to run lights and sound for parties

it was a mini laptop

It's using the serial port
