There are civil rights activists here, like in the US, yes. And the government, at least so far, demonstrates more of a willingness to listen to them.
 
You're an idiot. You have no idea whatsoever what is going on. This is a political ploy, happening just before elections. The elections, which are snap elections, came about because of some grifting in the halls of government. That grifting is like a speck of sand in comparison to the grifting Trump gets away with every minute of every day.
 
It's interesting to see what happens in elections in other countries at this point in history. Look what happened in Canada.
 
Case in point, those arrested during the riots last summer were arrested, processed, appeared in court and sent to jail/fined in a matter of days, when usually that sort of thing takes months, even years
 
In the US, BLM rioters that committed acts of violence were prosecuted in their local jurisdictions. I don't know how things work in the UK
