I do believe in god, @Alticus . I just don't believe that god is comprehensible to humans, let alone to Bronze-age humans who oh, so conveniently happened to know a whole bunch of god's 'rules' for their fellow humans.

I'm not keen to tell anybody else how or what to believe about deity, but for me, personally... I can't buy into the idea of a god that's so limited that it behaves like we do or shares our same petty, trifling motives.
