I grew up gaming. Started with Atari because of my dad. He still games at 66 and we still prefer the same console but our taste in games is very different.
Honestly pc gaming you can use mods created by other people or if you have the ability you can mod the games yourself. I unfortunately can’t make my own mods because I don’t feel like it. I remember what it was like changing coding and altering mods for Reject Haven good old vBulletin or whatever it was called.
I hated coding in the early 80's in school and only did html stuff in the late 90's, early 2000's. I did develop a fake screenshot trick in the early 2000's which nobody could pick from the real thing. It ruined flame and troll sites.lol
lol that’s awesome! I was a late bloomer. Computer lit class was shit in the 90s. It was one semester and if you didn’t have a computer at home you had no use for the info. My dad’s house which he inherited from my grandparents and they bought from my grandfather’s uncle has the same electrical sockets that were installed when the house was converted from gas to electricity. They had a coal furnace until the 70s. Dad said he’s the only one who ever owned an air conditioner in house.
Simply put our grandparents wanted nothing to do with technology after DVD players. My dad was the only one that made any progress and got into computers and stuff, but I wasn’t living there by then.
