I like apps like NisusWriter Pro, Ulysses (before it went subscription-based), DevonThink Pro, Logoist. There's lots of good shit for macOS that you just can't get for Windows.

I used to go for cheap computers until the Pentium 4 era

When I got my first 775 with a quadcore Q6600, a nice video card, 4 gigs and a good mobo, I saw the difference it'd made
