I've Sammy, and I had a Buddy (rip Buddy) and I had a Bijou, Frenxh poodle.

Yes, she's part wolf and definitely acts wild like a wolf, but very sweet and affectionate.

Yeah, Bassets are huge. I can pick my little wolf up no problem, but it makes her crazy. She hates to be picked up. I don't think she's dangerous at all. But she doesn't like being in the house or on a leash, at all.

Half wolf...maybe that's why she resists training...Loba is a good name.

I've often wondered if you can raise a wolf from a pup if it will be friendly when it's older but I don't think so.

I don't know about the purely wild ones. I mean she was clearly domesticated, but she just wants to run around. It's funny. She got out of her collar and ran for the woods. I had to chase her down. She obviously got the idea after a bit that she'd rather be with me, and came to me with no problem. But she wants to be free to roam while having the comfort of a home. Not gonns work.
