There's a cheeky little gaff we go to in Blackpool called 'The Bootleg Social Club'. Go to see a lot of new bands there and I guess theyre mainly rock and blues based

2nd one obviously a great riff that they jammed for hours and got that out of it. Like most great rock tunes

Prolly my fave of the 3. Nice groove. Here's one of my discoveries from that little club

Very restrained The Hives with a brit pop angle.... only a minute in so far.

Yeah the influences are pretty obvious but as a famous guitarist once said to me 'There's only 8 notes'

What did you think of Gomez? I loved the first couple albums but they lost something after....

They faded pretty quick but nowadays if you can make 2 good albums that's a winner

True. Muse had a maybe 4 good albums, 3 you'd go back to... and now they're so bland.

I've seen them live 6 times. Had to hold my nose in 2011. That was it.

Take Acid at gigs you may not think will be great. They usually turn out pretty good :)

Radiohead was the same. Kid A was good if you were whacked out on good weed, but the album dearly departed them from their base and only a duet with PJ Harvey around the same time is any good.

Took me a minute but I remembered Muse at their best. 'Supermassive Black Hole' That was cool

Their albums Showbiz and Hullabaloo were the greatest... following 2 albums were good but a descent into a hole.

Then they became Miami Vice rockers... which isn’t very rock..

Have to admit I didn't follow them closely so I'm on with the hits but not much more

Only just found out the first album I ever recorded (and did some backing vocals) was used by Miami Vice
