By "code a Website" do you mean use a Web browser as an interface to provide end users access to backend data to perform their tasks instead of a traditional client-server software topology?
You mean like the time a taxi company asked me "Hey TP, can you develop a Web site that will let us schedule car owners to shifts, and book drivers to those shifts, providing secure access to the users?"
And "Oh, and let the car owners have access to all the drivers, but allow them to rank the drivers by preference. 5 levels of preference should be more than enough. And let drivers slot themselves into shifts as long as they fit the criteria set by the owners, without the owners having to solicite the drivers?"
And "Give drivers the ability to easily search for any shift where they meet the criteria needed...and provide notifications to the owner if any upcoming shifts have not be filled by a driver...and allow owners to change the criteria so more drivers can have access to certain shifts...and allow the owners to notify qualified drivers of the upcoming shift that need to be filled."
And "Generate pay reports to owners. And....." Wait. What?!? "create an entire front page"......oh, that sounds pretty technical. Not sure I could do that!!!!
McPutz, I have created very complex Web applications. I am not a graphics artist type and I do not produce needlessly flashy user interfaces. I produce applications that make people more productive at their jobs.
