This is why we Americans think this game sucks. The ball barely brushed number 20's hair and they call "offsides?" That's all kinds of fucked up. If the ball goes in the goal, it should count even if there's a fist fight in front of the goal - in fact, fist fights would make the game cooler and more manly and watchable.

The offside rule basically states that at the moment the ball is passed the attacking player can't be in front of the last man.

But they gave Portugal a penalty even though the ref didn't see anything because the Portugal player did have a clear chance for a goal when he was being pulled

It's a stupid fucking rule. Offsides in real football is easy. Even Hockey offsides ain't that hard to figure. This makes no sense whatsoever. Bosnia was robbed.
