Oh. Very beautiful. Yes, the trees are more dramatic in the West.

yes @LotusBud we hiked "Teddy Bear Cove" a couple days ago and we're going to some little town south of here for a day trip after breakfast.

We went to Switzerland, which is absolutely gorgeous, but my first impression was, "Wow. I never knew, spending most of my life on the West Coast, that trees are so different in other parts of the world. Just not as magnificent." I don't mean to be rude. it's just a fact.

Bellingham. I don't think I've been there. My grandparents lived outside Sequim and I went there all the time. The trees in WA have a special feel to them.
