@Admin ~ I just finished 1883 and now I’m watching 1923 which is set in Oregon

Well, where I live, yes. But I'm on the Southern Atlantic coast right now, and they don't get as much. It's been raining a lot the last two weeks, which is quite unusual for here.

They did some filming very close to me, lots of Sam Elliot sightings at the time

1883 was excellent. Sam Elliot is one of the main characters in that one.

Yes! That scene was his entire purpose in the series. He lost his wife to small pox and her dream was to see the ocean.

My Great Grandpa and my one year old grandpa rode a wagon from Texas to Oregon in 1898

Once Grandpa grew up he logged the old growth of southern Oregon while his dad hunted game to feed the crew
