Of course there is still the huge issue of.....what exactly were landlords supposed to do about everything they owe the banks, because regardless of leftists thinking only wealthy corporations rent out properties.....reality says otherwise.

So what were all those landlords supposed to do? Go die? Go fuck off a cliff?

Not at all. It's your property. I'm sure you had a valid reason to evict him and you didnt just wake up one morning in the mood to fuck with your renter for the hell of it and also lose the income you got for renting. You reduced rent and said the utilities were expensive....and you were paying them. You shouldnt be forced to pay someone's utilities.

Why would I think you are an ass for that? Unless you went outside your agreement with guy and just fucked him over, you are not an ass for that.

My position on this is in favor of landlords. Most are just regular people who now owe banks thousands they cant afford. Stopping evictions wont stop foreclosures and bankruptcies. And its unconstitutional. And the reality is all these people received stimulus payments and unemployment....so.....why didnt they pay their rent?

This is more about these elected officials using situations to create propaganda and people falling for it. You see how they lie and put on a show? This is exactly why I dont trust these politicians. And instead of them being held accountable, people go after other people from other parties when we point out they are full of shit.

At 50 years old? You were likely dealing with someone who is a professional when it comes to taking advantage of soft hearted people.

My brother rented his house out and they tore the place apart and stole a bunch of shit. They didn't pay him rent for months so he finally kicked them out and I guess that's why they trashed the place. That's why I'll never rent my place. Seems like too much a hassle.

Electric for my main house, pool equip, casita with a renter, exterior lighting $625. Water Anywhere from $50. To $80. Internet, CATV, $150. Pool chemicals, $75. Gardener, pool maintenance $125. As you can see the Electric bill is the biggie. He ran the A/C most of the day And night. I only use it at night in my br only.

Normally, this is the point where I would club you about the face and neck, however:

You are fully within your right to evict someone for non payment. I've no doubt that its a burden to house someone on your own dime. After all, you still have all the related bills. I personally believe you already went above and beyond by working with the renter....something you werent obligated to do. I wouldnt even be surprised if you felt badly about having to evict him and even turn him down. Dont let him back in unless he has loads of cash to give you up front.
