Stemen, an agent in the FBI’s Miami field office, said last year after Esformes, 52, a nursing home operator, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the two-decade scheme that involved an estimated $1.3 billion worth of fraudulent claims.

That prison term ended suddenly this week, when President Donald Trump commuted what remained of Esformes’ sentence.

Too many Americans have been brainwashed by the grifters in power into accepting the most egregious behaviors from our representatives and the country's corporations and banks and pharmaceutical companies, etc, etc. Americans are very easily led by the nose.
