And the Corporate Elites & the NeoCons/NeoLiberals at publications like the Economist told them to keep on making babies.

I guess all they really want/wanted is a cheap suppply of 3rd world labor with a consumer base to sell their products to.

They claim people are starving to death but where are the dead bodies. I get it, Brazil has lots of slum dwellers for a long, long time but they've always found plenty of food to breed huge families. I have no doubt things are never Rosie for them but I do doubt the claim that 70% of the population is supposedly starving to death.
