Untrue.
But unfortunately those who are most likely to help someone simply because it's the right thing to do often aren't themselves in a position to offer much in the way of material support due to the fact that this society, this world, eats people like them for breakfast.

Humanity really is the worst animal on this planet.

Holy shit!!!

Do people actually buy that???

At least I will be honest and say "No, I will not give you any money because I would rather spend it on myself, and besides, I actually enjoy watching you struggle."

Which is why I never ask. It's either pointless or just a risk.

I’m saying I ain’t gonna drag him. He should have never let Oak do that

Oh. Okay.

He sold a bit of himself for $50-$60.

I wonder if he would mow the yard for $100? And then wash the vehicles for another $50, and then clean out two garages for $300?

Have fun with that.
Being well-adjusted to a profoundly sick society isn't a flex I'd toss around but that's just me.

I never sold a thing. I never offered, and never asked for help. Help was offered and I took the offer. My mistake was believing Lily when she said there were no strings attached. Clearly, there were strings attached, and it's my bad that I took her word otherwise.

I absolutely would. I never asked for 'something for nothing'. I'd take the work in a second.

No panhandling. I offered Lily an explanation for my 'caustic' posting style some time back. She offered to lend a hand. And because I'm not an idiot, I accepted the offer.

One which she assured me came with 'no strings attached' -- her words, verbatim. I should have known it did come with strings attached, though. She evidently thought she was 'buying' my docility.
Too weepy, man up loser.

At the chance of sounding like @Jack could you please summarize what happened, without you know posting P.I.

Who approached who.
Did she donate to your GFM?

Juan Pablo charges me $60 bucks to mow my lawn. Motherfucker wakes me up every Friday at precisely 7:00 AM.

Shit.

What is it with Mr. Serious here?

Vitty, if I told you I was really a nice guy.....would you believe me?!!?

I'm always serious except when I'm not. I always play the cards I'm dealt against the ones showing on the table unless I feel like pulling one out of my pocket or sneaking one from the deck.

And I'm never ever pedantic unless I think it'll be fun.

Truths; pinky swear.

As for you being a nice guy... hmm.
I don't actually know you, do I?
I'd be willing to go as far as saying you're probably not literally evil but beyond that?
