Hold on to your life.
I've always taken good care of my teeth as this is one of the first things a woman will notice on a first date

incels and dudes who are into other dudes might not know something like that tho.
That's great information, thank you for sharing.

This will save you a lot of money.

Buy a pack of these and just wedge one in whenever you need it. If it falls out, chew it and enjoy.

When the teeth right next to the gap rot out, you will have to look for a more permanent solution.

Couple things I observed @reaper if you're searching for a dentist.

1. Go to a place where the dentist(s) actually specialize in implants and implant surgery. Periodontist/Periodontics?

2. See if it's a group or just 1 dentist. The reason I say this is I discovered that some dentists aren't that competent and if it's a group of them they might provide some oversight over their colleagues work. Just like a car mechanic, some dentists can run a shop on their own. But others not so much.

3. Check the reputation of the office - word of mouth, Internet ratings, comments by past patients. And if they have the experience to do your job.

4. See if they're really interested in helping you or whether they just want to grab your money and run with it. I walked out on one dentist because she insisted I provide her with complete payment with 100% cash or money order or credit card on 1 visit. So I said screw this, forget about her

5. Plus she was argumentative and got angry and defensive when I asked her a question. And this isn't sexist, because I went to another, a female colleague of hers and she was excellent, helpful, friendly etc etc.

I dunno I guess I'm somewhat jaded after these mishaps or experiences and wary of scheisters.

If theyre NFG and you don't have any confidence in 'em don't go to them.

I’ve got 5 implants, couldn’t face wearing dentures lol, if you trust your own dentist then let him do it, I’ve seen people with the Turkish ones and you can see there false, too white, I had a bit of pain for about 4 days, had a gum boil on one that I popped myself, but then I’m an animal. Don’t think about them now just like my own teeth. Well worth the money mate.

@Joe has had his share of tooth problems for someone who claims to be healthy.
Yes I admit @The Prowler that has been my achilles heel in the past 5 years. I have had dental problems which have been very costly. I admit I neglected my dental health took it for granted & have paid the price!$$$

Otherwise my health has been quite good. Medical exam 2 weeks ago. No heart problems, no diabetes. No prostate problems. No vision problems. Reflexes superb. No covid. No brain fog. Broke a few ribs last year but they healed. No present/past drug addictions. Currently using no medication. Out of shape tho as winter flab has set in. i used to be 120/60 but now its just 120/70. Did I leave out anything that you can think of @The Prowler ?

One time my reflexes were so good I outran a bear. Tho Im still fast Im not sure if my muscles or joints could do that anymore. That was 35 years ago. You tear a lot of muscles when your body is under extreme stress like that.

We all slow down. I suppose the brain isnt as agile as we age. Do you know of any foods that speed up the neurotransmitters @The Prowler? I eat a lotta fish fresh fruit vegetables actually.

My goal is to reach retirement with 0/zero health problems. Many/Most of my friends have not been so fortunate. A couple are already dead.

Thus far I have been a product of Natural Selection @The Prowler. If we ran our society on 'survival of the fittest' I'd be one of the few left standing.

Survived cancer of the knee as a child too. Remember Terry Fox? He wasnt so lucky. Terry was a saint - an Angel - actually. He fits the mould 'Only the Good die young'. Im not a saint to and I suppose thats why Im still alive @The Prowler.

Yeah I got both my front teeth knocked out when I was in my 20`s.So have had both of them crowned for 20 + years now.I'm not to worried about the cash,it's the pain and hassle of it I was wondering about.

I need one of my missing back teeth done and I am not worried about the money.... I am worried about drilling into my jaw bone... I am worried about infection being introduced to my jaw bone...

Operations are dangerous because germ contamination is real and it ends up costing you more than intended...

you know I had a problem similar to yours.

Had this gold crown on the molar. I had this slight pain. I told the dentist. He did a conventional x ray. He detected nothing. So this went on for over a year. Went to another dentist. He took a conventional x ray. Found nothing. So he sent me to an endodontist who did a deep scan using 3d ct technology. She found a lotta problems that went undetected. Unfortunately even tho i had a root canal done there was too much rot and I lost the tooth.

Turns out the conventional x ray cannot penetrate through gold crowns.

So if you think you may have problems elsewhere in the mouth then follow your gut instinct and have it looked into. I wish I'd done that been harder nosed about cuz I'd still have the tooth.

Anyways Im starting to think that some dentists are scheisters. They might know theres a problem but they dont tell you cuz they wanna keep the gravy train flowing and the money coming in. So of course when you get real problems you spend much more. Just like a car, some mechanics detect problems better than others.

The problem in the USA is Malpractice insurance. A typical Doctors visit here is $60. A visit to the Dentist for teeth cleaning is the same. A root canal runs about $250. Why? Because there is no malpractice insurance. While staying in Healdsburg in NorCal, last year, I went to the emergency at the local hospital for I thought was a broken, badly sprained ankle. With X-rays. $2300. What fucking bullshit. Insurance Companies own Merica.

I dont mind spending the money if the job is done right. Its when the job is poorly done that is the problem. If the dentist or doctor is good thats what counts. Id rather spend $10,000 on a job well done than $1,000 and it falls apart or is no good.

Cant put a price tag on your health.

Don’t mind a Doctors fee. Knowing half of it is for malpractice insurance is bullshit Joe.

I look like an old rat with a missing front tooth lol.

My partner briefly lost his front tooth from an accident. I told him to get it fixed quick because he went from normal to hillbilly instantaneously. He got a temporary bridge while getting the implant work done.

Find the one with the best references in your area. That's what I did.

Do your teeth successfully distract them from your lack of height and IQ?
