My man is like this as well (larger than average vocabulary). He will sometimes drop a word on me that I have to look up. I'll understand it due to context but it will be a word I never heard or read in my life.

He has been doing that since high school. It's so appropriate that he grew up to be a writer lol.

He can also be very petty and shallow so he is really fun to gossip with. It's a real treat when someone so good with words is talking all kinds of shit lol. I used to beg him to come and join us on the forums.
