...and yet as I indicated in the above post, someone's on the receiving end & someone dies.

Doesn't matter if they're Republican or Democrat, Liberal of Conservative.

In the end, they're gone & they leave casulaties and loved ones behind.

regardless who's to blame, it's often the same bad result.
