I was paying 1.50 a LITRE AUD for petrol 2 weeks ago. Granted, that is cheap as hell considering the last 5 years. Now it's at 2.29 AUD a Litre.

3.8 litres Australian or just under is 1 gallon US.... so a gallon of gasoline has gone up here 3 dollars AU in under two weeks.

Converted: 3.00 AUD is approximately 2.00 USD.

We always get screwed over here.... even in good times, fuel is taxed up the wazoo..

And the LPG bill this month likely doubled.
