Of all of us that despise the Tangerine Tyrant, I complain about him the least.

If you were a discerning individual, more like Reggie, you'd know this...

Ever say something genuinely positive about his policies?

De donde me da la gana.
I realized I hadn't been paying attention to what some of these people are actually saying.

Think I'm going to re embrace that.

My very first grown up job I was quite young, just out of college...6 months. I was about to turn 23 the month following my hire date...just after MLK day in January. God forbid they hire my cohort before and pay is a holiday right off the bat.

I realize now, how young, and stil needing to mature, I was. I was a paper pusher, adjudicating medical disability claims. In CA, we have an epmmployee tax that covers temporary disability for up to a year.

Each of us paper pushers got mail from doctors, lawyers, but most often our "clients", the disabled.

I recall opening this envelope one time, and pulling out a letter written on college ruled paper in black ink. It was a long letter.

I start reading it and within a minute I'm laughing and hard. Guffawing and I'm trying to choke back my laughter since I was in an office with all the other paper pushers...who are on their phones and at their computers, working. My colleague that sat right next to me asked what was so funny.

It was hard not to giggle, but told him what was written in the letter in fits and starts.

I explained that my client, an engineer at Lockheed Martin, believed that the Loma Prieta earthquake, that happened in 1989, during the Bay Area World Series game between the A's and Giants, was caused by a Lockheed Martin weapon being detonated in the Santa Cruz mountains.

These mountains are part of the coastal range between the South Bay Area (San Jose/Silicon Valley) and Santa Cruz, CA.

Now, there was an actual earthquake, but it wasn't set off by any kind of military weapon. I lived through it and it was scary. Only earthquake where I felt fear. It was massive.

I pulled up his claim, and as I figured, his diagnosis was paranoid schizophrenia. Poor bastard.

Had I been this age, I probably been more compassionate and not quite as amused.

Other letters from the mentally ill were sad and not funny. The mental pain people are in is hard to describe.

You added on the last bit after I replied.

Are the farm workers legally in the US or illegally?

Half of farmworkers are here as undocumented labor, and the other half used to be undocumented.

There aren't Americans that want those jobs. It's backbreaking work, most of it during the very hot months in a extremely hot central valley of California, or the desert valley's, Coachella and Imperial...

If they have no legal right to remain/work in the US, they need to be kicked out.

I disagree.

They need to have a worker status created for them. Years ago, undocumented labor entered the country seasonally, and then left and lived in Mexico half the year. They made much needed money and we got the labor.

Ever since we got "tough on immigration", they stopped going back and forth...and the population of undocumented people exploded. We created our own mess by wanting cheap labor while pretending that they weren't needed here.

Two wrongs don't make a right. Illegal aliens should have never been allowed in. Legal aliens, fine.

But that doesn't mean the laws shouldn't be fully applied now.

Break the law, fuck off.

I realize it is legal to deport them. What do you care, you won't have to pay the food prices we do? Better policy is needed in so many areas of government.

However, he attacks people I identify with...culturally, linguistically and as an economic class, as in my upbringing. So yeah, so what I initially posted is a factually correct.

Are you a law abiding American citizen or not?

You should be identifying as a US citizen and standing up to illegal foreigners.
