What is clearly not being understood is that this virus keeps mutating, mostly among the unvaccinated. For it's own survival, it will mutate to where it is very harmful for children. Vaccination can put an end to the virulence of this virus. It will have a lot fewer hosts to mutate in. It's a simple concept.

But we have an extremely selfish and superstitious subset of Americans who don't care. There is nothing we can do. They will have to suffer the consequences for things to change.

Let them believe what they will, post what they want, etc. The thing about reality is that it happens no matter what people post online or shriek about in YT.

That is one of the lamer and least educated claims. You are trying to blame around 5% of the world's population for all mutations when the world has 8 billion people well over 90% are unvaccinated plus there are now animal reservoirs. There are going to be new variants probably every year if not sooner no matter what. That is the new normal so get used to it.

We are likely to see yearly shots just like the flu shot and just like the flu some will opt for the shot while others won't and the risk is entirely on them and no one else. So stop worrying about everyone else and start worrying about yourself as that is all you can control in the end anyway.
