Anything neuroscience related is fascinating to me. Our organic quantum computers are something special. Who knows what we'll learn in the next 50 years.

That's actually one of the things that irritates me the most about dying eventually...the knowledge that will come that I'll miss out on. Feels bad when you think about it.

Yes, that is often true. But they certainly can also be about the people we're dreaming about if we are trying to work out things with that particular person. But symbology is a huge part of dreams, and often the people are there to represent something symbolically.

I find dreams to be extremely educational.

I definitely believe our subconscious is working things out in our dreams… and that we are being guided by our own intuition.

I had a dream after my grandmother had a stroke and this was after they convinced us she was going to have a full recovery. It was my grandfather building a gate and he was telling me he was taking her across. The hills behind the gate looked like Ireland, which is where she was born and there were dogs running all over. She had 5 dogs growing up. My grandfather mentioned a cleat to me in the dream, which we are all athletes and this was confusing to me at the times. She passed 4 days later.

Months later I couldn’t get over this drama and I googled cleat wood gate and found that a French cleat is used for wood gates. Needless to say, I had a moment and was grateful she was back with him.

You ask me that after you post this?

No. You don't get to demand scientific studies after that.
Same shit, different thread.

The usual suspects are quite obvious in their intent.

Wow.

I think dreams can be very meaningful, and very helpful in the realm of self discovery and interpersonal relationships. Life/death issues. I have a number of intense dreams about my father.

I keep having the same repetitive dream with different scenarios around it. Usually happens when I wake up just early enough for it to be too early to get up for the day. When I get back to sleep it starts up and is quite vivid.

The plot is I'm at a mall and need to get to the airport to get home in time for work. I always lose my wife first, then my phone, and often I'm naked and it starts snowing. The mall is endless and I can't get out.

Sooner or later it occurs in the dream that I'm dreaming and I force myself awake.

So, it's a lucid dream. Interesting. Lots to unpack there. Anxiety.
