The USA has been Israels largest and most capable sponsor, ( remember we used to try and be the good guys) in recognition of the absolute horror show of the WW2 final solution, was that out of guilt? probably then more than now we were the children of Europe, if so, does that make it wrong? But to get to the point, at what point during these last couple months and counting of Hamas invasion of Israel, and the counterattack measures and counting by israel and its allies is the moment it has gone too far, who owns the STOP Button and what is to happen when the stop button is struck, and then how do you manage the "Supply Change" as a Trump might describe it?

Israel was the brainchild and project of the UK, originally. Only later when we decided it would be to our benefit to use it as a regional extension of 'Murican hegemony did we become its primary supporter. RFKJr has described it as "our aircraft carrier in the middle east" and that's not far wrong, although these days we have bases in other countries such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iraq, Afghanistan, and even Syria (although we're *there* illegally) we could use for that purpose. Israel is a threat we use to bully other governments in the region into doing what we want.
As for how Biden should and always could have curtailed Israel's atrocities that's simple:
Stop sending them money and weapons; stop covering for them diplomatically at the UN. We love to throw sanctions around at anyone else who isn't following our orders, so let Israel taste a few of them too.
It's that simple.
