The ONLY acceptable time to use deadly force against anyone is if they are perusing you, attacking you or you see them in the act of attacking/brutalizing another human being.

If THOSE men(who chased Arbery) had violent criminal histories and were participating in a riot when they targeted a person to chase him down and attack him like they did to Arbery, it WOULD be relevant.
