At this point, Vance probably doesn't care if Trump loses.

This election campaign gave him exposure and has helped him raise his profile.

I suspect his real aspiration is to wield power as a Senator & graduate to a Senior role in the Senate. LIke Mitt Romney.

If not that, then a seat on the USSC.

This VP running mate role is probably just a stepping stone for him.

Vance doesn't particularly like being the VP running mate, he's just in there for the ride. And if Trump loses, Vance can claim the guy was a nut job anyways.

I'm not making a value judgment about him whether I like the guy or not.

Whether a person likes or dislikes Vance apart from lack of appeal, he's just not a natural leader.

Aside from leadership qualities any leader be it man or woman needs to have sufficient appeal and empathy to connect with their citizens

I know a lot of people dont like him but in a way I kinda feel sorry for him because he reminds me of the shy kid in high school who runs for class President but nobody likes him. He tries real hard but he just doesn't have it.

While Kamala certainly has her share of haters, she also has a significant following who genuinely like her.

Even Trump said the other day that she was nice to him on the phone after the latest assassination attempt on his life.

But his followers genuinely love him.
Heck he even has a groupie in Laura Loomer who adores him.

The same cannot be said for Vance.
Hes just not popular or loved...by anyone.

That's why he shouldn't ever be President. Otherwise he'll end up becoming the Herbert Hoover of his time.

Incidentally Hoover actually tried hard to improve the conditions of the Great Depression and he began a New Deal of his own. But like Vance he had negative personality traits which made him unsuitable for office.
