Is this a constitutional crisis, as Trump is the only convicted felon, 11 time bankrupt, civil court rapist and general all round fucktot to ever inhabit the Oval Office?

Qualification, the US marshals are not an adjunct of executive orders, but of those issued by the court.

The Court has no teeth. Decisions have been complied with out of respect for the Constitution. They can ask US Marshall's office to pick an official up for contempt of court and Trump can order them to stand down. He will.

TrumpCo does not respect the Constitution.

Absolutely. It's been brewing since his previous administration. He always wanted to do this. He wasn't surrounded by such anti-American craven and deeply corrupt as he is now. They steered him away last time around.

Politically engrained opinions can only be challenged by the ramification of those opinions. It takes a personal cost, to change the accosting of everything out-with your control.

What I find in him is his failure to see Trump for how terrible he really is. Yes, worse than Biden.

Yes. We are going to go through a dark period. We are done as a superpower, perhaps this is for the best. We've been pretty damned destructive. And for what? We haven't won any of the damn wars we started. So many Americans lost for about 70 years of superpower status.

And Americans have lost the middle class altogether. We really are a country of have and have nots. This is what our fellow Americans have fallen for...oblivion.

I'd like to remind you it was Obama who suspended habeus corpus and failed to roll back any of Bush's absurd "Patriot Act" nonsense; in fact he instituted a drone murder program that killed mostly civilians and even 'Murican citizens. Biden tried to set up a 'Ministry of Truth' to monitor (and no doubt take actions to "combat") online "mis/disinformation" and only scrapped it when the director was exposed as a nutjob and public outcry was impossible to ignore.

And that's just off the top of my head.

Look, if nothing else, get this straight once and for all, and stop projecting your feelings onto me, I do not hate you. I actually don't hate anyone here. Though, I do dislike some.

You don't even make that list because the diagreements we have are political in nature, at least to me. I have vehement political disagreements with the person I live with. We have passionate, and sometimes even loud disagreements, but they don't become personal. And he and I disagree more than you and I.

We both come from academic backgrounds where debate was not only common, but encouraged. At the end of the day, I can see the humanity in my opponent. I was a poli sci undergrad and would get into discussions with the president of the College Republicans on campus. I still remember Nelson. After class we'd walk out and chat about our writing assignments and/or midterms or finals as the situation merited. We were friendly. I've seen politics the same way and political oppenents the same way since I was that 18 year old girl. It's been 40 years. I'm not changing.


Disagreeing with someone does not mean I hate. Not in my head nor in my heart. You can keep saying that over and over, it doesn't make it so.

As for Obama, I already said that I didn't vote for him in 2012 after I witnessed the decisions he made in his first term.

The playing footsie isn't about their politics. It's about their meanness. They are mean because of our politics and they make it about appearance or "sexuality"...eyeroll.

I'll give one example about how nasty they are. @LotusBud pretty much stays out of meltdown..about 98% of the time. She is excoriated for her politics and has been chopped as a witch, called a cunt and twat. I see it all the time.

You're damned if you do and you're damned if you dont. She doesn't, I do. It's they that can't handle politics and allow it to become personal.

In fact everything I've predicted for decades is happening now and it fucking sucks.

It's neither my responsibility nor my "mission" to change hearts and minds. You lot will have to figure this shit out for yourselves just like the rest of us. Thinking you need a "savior" or a "guru" to put you on the right path is a problem, not a virtue. But that's also one of those things you need to figure out for yourself I reckon. Well, they should do the right thing and arrest the MF, but everyone is protecting their financial and power interests, so not many are willing to do the right thing these days. It's a very tangled corporate web these DC grifters have woven around themselves.
